Welcome to our website! I will be listing skills we are working on, homework assignments, reminders, and notifications on this website.
Folders of graded work were sent home today. The field trip form for our second Blackhawks trip was also sent home today. Please make sure to complete and sign all pages.
Participation in Invention Convention is no longer mandatory. Students who wish to participate or have completed work for an invention may submit their work for extra credit in science. I apologize for the confusion.
As we move into 2nd semester, I would like to remind everyone about the late homework policy. Homework must be submitted within 3 days of the original due date. Each day the work is late, 10 percent is taken off the grade. Any work received after this time period will not receive credit.
Here is a timely workshop for students. The fourth grade students are studying magnets and electricity now!

This is a reminder that parent conferences will be held on November 13, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Teachers will have a lunch break from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Please go to your homeroom teacher (4th/Lisenby and 5th/Worsham) to get your child's report card. If you would like to meet with either Ms. Lisenby or Mrs. Worsham, there will be a sign-up sheet outside of each teacher's classroom. Conferences will be 10 minutes each and will be called in order based upon the sign-in sheet. If you have any questions, please email either Mrs. Worsham or Ms. Lisenby.

It was great seeing you at Curriculum Night. Folders with graded work will be sent home tomorrow. Please sign and return the folder by Friday. Today every student had an opportunity to meet with me and discuss their current grades. Students were given time to make up missing work. There are many missing assignments! If you cannot access Aspen, your child can. For first quarter grades, I will accept missing assignments until Friday October 4. Any assignments that are more than 3 days late after that will not be accepted. Beginning tomorrow I will be sending home missing assignment letters. Please sign and return these with the work attached.

Please submit these by Friday if possible. I will be accepting summer packet work through Friday also. Students received their agenda books yesterday and were asked to write down their resource class schedule in the agenda. Our schedule will be posted shortly.

Red folders went home today! Please encourage your child to utilize the red folder for organization. All students are now registered and enrolled in MathXL. This is a program that supplements our math textbook. Students receive weekly assignments that are graded and recorded. Please encourage your child to complete their work and redo any problems they got wrong. I look forward to seeing you next week at curriculum night. Save the date: Thursday, September 26 5:30 pm. Hope to see you!
